Notice of Delay in Publishing Audited Accounts
Rugeley Town Council is required, under the Accounts and Audit Regulations 2015, to publish its audited Annual Governance and Accountability Return (AGAR) and the Notice of Conclusion of Audit by 30th September 2025.
At present, the Council has submitted all required documentation on time, however the external auditor has advised that their review has not yet been completed. This means that the audited AGAR and the Notice of Conclusion of Audit are not available for publication by the statutory deadline.
As soon as the audit report is received from the external auditor, the audited AGAR and Notice of Conclusion of Audit will be published on this website and made available for public inspection.
