Rugeley Town Council is looking to co-opt a new Town Councillor to fill the vacant seat for the Etching Hill ward. This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved, represent your local area, and help shape the future of your community.
What does being a councillor involve?
Town councillors work together to make decisions on local services, events, facilities, and issues that matter to residents. Youβll be the voice of your community and contribute to a wide range of council matters.
You donβt need to be a political expert or have council experience β just a genuine interest in your area and a willingness to get involved.
To be eligible, you must:

Be at least 18 years old

Be a British citizen, or a qualifying Commonwealth or EU citizen
β
Live or work in or within 3 miles of Rugeley (more than 12 months residency, work, or land ownership criteria apply)
